I reported to Sara, late July, 1966 fresh from boot camp and was
assigned to V-3. My total Navy sea duty consisted of the 6 months I spent
on Sara. I was transferred to school at NATTC, Memphis in Jan67.
After graduation I was stationed there as ships-company. In Aug72 I
transferred to San Diego leaving active duty in Dec73 as a TD2.
After completing college I stating a new career at Ford Motor in Dearborn.
I joined the Navy Reserve in 1980 as an ADJ1. After earning my commission
in 1981, I transferred to the Seabee Navy where I served until I retired in
2001.
